Hermès — Paris: Menswear Studio Assistant (Internship). 6-month full-time internship starting Sept 2026 in the men's ready-to-wear studio.
Role & Responsibilities
- Produce flat sketches by hand and in Illustrator to support garment development.
- Complete technical sheets including measurements and detail sketches for prototypes.
- Construct maquettes and mock-ups of details, ensuring correct proportions for new models.
- Research imagery and motifs; assemble moodboards to inform seasonal direction.
- Propose detail and model ideas coherent with the collection’s spirit.
- Develop and apply colourways for contrast details and colour-blocking.
- Attend post-fittings and collection debriefs; record and relay fit decisions.
- Prepare and distribute the season’s colour ranges and related documentation.
- Support studio administration: dispatch prototypes, organise materials, file fit trials and test garments.
- Assist in preparation activities for the press runway show.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a recognised fashion or design school (students only).
- Demonstrable passion for menswear and an understanding of Hermès Homme aesthetics.
- Strong organisational skills, rigour and discretion in handling prototypes and studio materials.
- Service-oriented with a collaborative team spirit.
- Proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator.

Experience
Beginners accepted; open to fashion students with academic project experience. Prior internship experience in a studio is advantageous but not required.
Education
Student currently enrolled in a fashion or design school.
