Role & Responsibilities
- Coordinate intake, cataloguing and integration of regular sample campaigns into the materials library collection.
- Maintain and update stock and inventory tracking tables for materials and samples.
- Produce and maintain activity reporting and key performance indicators for the materiauthèque.
- Support collection-routine activities with partner teams at each seasonal collection (collection of samples and metadata).
- Manage loans to internal métiers: prepare material loans, track returns and perform follow-ups and reminders.
- Conduct material and colour research to identify missing references and strengthen the collection.
- Support deployment and upkeep of the digital materials library: collect information, update tracking tools and assist partner teams.
- Create and update material identity sheets and thematic dossiers for the physical and digital library.
- Contribute to the design of user journeys for the physical and digital space and draft explanatory labels and fiches.
- Where appropriate, welcome and guide visiting groups for discovery tours of the materiauthèque.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a Bac+3 to Bac+5 programme (Engineering school, School of Design, IFM, Art School, École du Louvre Master in heritage professions or comparable curriculum).
- Strong sensibility for materials and interest in high-quality objects and finishes.
- Seriousness, autonomy, rigor and excellent organisational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and comfortable working with multiple internal partners.
- Very good written communication and drafting skills.
- Full command of Pack Office; familiarity with Power BI is a plus.
- Eligible for an apprenticeship (alternance) contract beginning September 2026.

Experience
Open to students and early-career candidates; professional experience is not required. Previous internships in materials, product development, museum/heritage, or library/archive environments will be considered an asset.
Education
Current student in a Bac+3 to Bac+5 programme (Engineering, Design, IFM, Art School, École du Louvre Master or equivalent).
