Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of three supply coordinators (leather, textiles & components, continuous improvement), in partnership with HR, transmitting Hermès’ managerial philosophy and fostering professional development.
  • Own the end‑to‑end procurement and supply planning for raw materials and components (leather, metallic parts, other components) to ensure on‑time material deliveries that support finished‑goods production plans.
  • Orchestrate weekly materials and components meetings and participate in product‑date review points; detect upstream shortages and propose mitigation plans (multisourcing, rationalisation, contingency actions).
  • Develop and maintain short-, medium- and long‑term load/capacity tools to identify imbalances and define action plans with Purchasing and Industrial partners.
  • Define, monitor and report supply KPIs (service rate, utilization/saturation, delivery lead times, inventory performance) and animate supplier performance reviews with associated corrective plans.
  • Collaborate closely with Style, Collection, Development, Industrialisation, Quality, Purchasing and the Femme Élégante business unit to translate demand into reliable supply and purchasing strategies (localisation, market shares).
  • Ensure stock governance with logistics: stock reliability, inventory targets and reconciliation with the stock manager; lead supplier performance meetings quarterly/biannually.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree (engineering school or business school) with strong supply chain knowledge.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of professional experience in production or supply functions within a transformation or industrial environment.
  • Proven people management experience, including coaching, target setting and delivering team performance.
  • Operational familiarity with PLM, APS, ERP systems and Power Bi for performance monitoring and reporting.
  • Capacity to travel regularly (France/Italy, approximately once per month).
  • Italian language skills are a plus.
