Hermès seeks Master Data Manager in Pantin to lead enterprise-wide data governance and reference data strategy within the Corporate IT Division.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate actively with the Finance Reference Data BPO to define and implement the target vision for master data repositories, particularly data-related priorities, by piloting roadmaps and arbitrating priorities in close coordination with Finance operations, distribution, production, and all Hermès IT departments
  • Contribute to data governance and drive evolution projects for related systems (acting as Solution Design Authority)
  • Establish and maintain application mapping of master data to ensure quality, consistency, and systematic updates of reference data across all information systems
  • Support business units and solution teams during major transformation initiatives and regulatory compliance projects
  • Participate in business requirements definition and master data delivery governance
  • Lead functional oversight of solution delivery and enhancements impacting supplier and organisational structure reference data
  • Identify and rapidly address organisational governance risks around master data stewardship, particularly for the ERP Supply project, in coordination with the Data team and relevant business departments (Finance, Direct Procurement, Indirect Procurement, Hermès Commercial)
  • Contribute to ongoing initiatives around supplier reference data governance, including Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) considerations

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree or business school diploma or equivalent qualification
  • Confirmed experience of at least 5 years in comparable roles with solid understanding of technical challenges
  • Significant experience leading data governance programmes or data platform initiatives and implementing reference data frameworks
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional organisations, federate teams, and support organisational change
  • Demonstrated collaborative mindset, team spirit, rigour, and adaptability
  • Strong analytical, synthesis, and advisory capabilities
  • SAP system knowledge (preferred but not required)
  • Proficiency in transformation and change management disciplines
  • Fluent English (written, spoken, read)

Experience
