Hermès Perfume & Beauty seeks Operational Marketing Assistant for 6-month full-time internship in Paris, starting January 2027. Travel Retail marketing support role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare and coordinate major product launches with commercial teams and sales delegates across Travel Retail Europe
- Adapt and deploy Perfume & Beauty visual merchandising plans across retail spaces and promotional areas
- Develop localized marketing tools tailored to Travel Retail distribution channels
- Independently execute trade marketing operations across the entire region, including campaign tracking and budget management
- Prepare creative briefs aligned with merchandising guidelines and oversee supplier delivery
- Monitor trade marketing budgets by retailer and conduct performance analyses on all trade operations
- Organize the annual seminar for approximately 100 Travel Retail Europe sales associates
- Consolidate data and produce quarterly marketing reports covering sell-out results, trade and media activations, and training initiatives
- Maintain competitive intelligence and document best practices in the perfume and beauty sector through regular marketing newsletters
- Serve as primary contact with International Marketing on product development and regional launch strategy
- Build and monitor annual POSM budgets (POS materials, gifts with purchase, samples) with monthly tracking and reconciliation
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a business school, IAE program, university, or equivalent institution
- Fluent English proficiency
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Prior six-month internship or similar marketing support role highly preferred
- Knowledge of the perfume and beauty sector considered a strong advantage
Skills
Experience
Prior internship experience in marketing or a related function is strongly appreciated but not required; beginners are accepted. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects independently and coordinate with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
Education
Currently enrolled student in a business school, IAE program, university, or equivalent institution.
