Hermès seeks Manager of Exceptional Sales Operations in Pantin, France. Lead physical sales events, manage budgets, coordinate teams, and drive operational excellence.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and animate the planning schedule for each event, coordinating all timelines and dependencies
- Source and evaluate service providers, manage tender processes, and oversee vendor selection with budget accountability
- Track contractual obligations with support from Group expertise, ensure compliance, and manage all agreements
- Collaborate on site design, space layout, and bespoke furniture production with internal stakeholders
- Coordinate all event partners and internal teams, identify resource requirements in liaison with Divisional HR, and define security protocols with Group Safety teams
- Recruit and brief sales teams and front-of-house staff for physical sales operations; develop and deliver comprehensive team briefings
- Validate product offers and sales quotas in collaboration with Business Analysis and Procurement teams
- Organize reserves and manage operational restocking during events to optimize product flow
- Execute visual merchandising strategy and develop innovative sales animations to enhance customer engagement
- Maintain and optimize the sales floor during operations and manage on-site disputes or issues
- Coordinate private sale guest lists, customer communications, invitations, and customer inquiry responses in collaboration with the France subsidiary
- Prepare detailed post-event reviews and develop action plans to enhance customer experience and product sell-through
- Conduct external benchmarking and share best practices across Group divisions and international subsidiaries
Qualifications
- Master's degree (Bac+5) or equivalent
- Approximately 3 years of relevant professional experience
- Proven experience in transversal project management
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and systematic approach
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities with strong listening skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
- Fluent English

Minimum 3 years of professional experience in operations, event management, or retail project coordination, with demonstrated success managing complex, cross-functional initiatives in a luxury or high-end retail environment.
Education
Master's degree (Bac+5) or equivalent qualification in business administration, event management, retail operations, or related discipline.
