Hermès Sellier, Pantin — Management Controller (fixed-term) role in finance driving budgeting, reporting and operational dashboards.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage financial steering activities including quarterly closings, reforecasts, B+2 cycles and budget preparation.
  • Analyse variances and translate financial data into concise, decision-ready synthesis notes for stakeholders.
  • Maintain and feed data into the corporate reporting tool (Magnitude) and other information systems.
  • Design, build and optimise bespoke dashboards to monitor business performance and KPIs.
  • Act as a business partner through monthly liaison with field teams, production sites and accounting functions.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and deliver ad hoc studies to challenge assumptions and drive performance improvements.

Qualifications

  • Degree from a Grande École (business school or engineering) or equivalent higher education diploma.
  • Minimum 1 year of proven experience in management control or financial controlling.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency and strong analytical capability.
  • Familiarity with financial information systems; experience with SAP, M3, TM1 or Cognos is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal synthesis; proven ability to communicate financial concepts to non-finance partners.
  • Rigour, operational mindset and adaptability in a transversal, fast-paced environment.

Experience

Minimum 1 year of experience in management control or a closely related finance role, with exposure to budgeting, forecasting and operational reporting.

Education

Master's-level degree from a Grande École (business school or engineering) or equivalent.
