Hermès Sellier in Pantin seeks a Management Control Intern (Purchasing) — 6‑month full‑time internship starting Sep 2026 in DETS purchasing and operational controlling.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the DETS Purchasing team with maintenance and enhancement of the contracts database and creation of the N+1 database.
- Validate and cleanse numerical data prior to financial integration and reporting.
- Enter purchase orders into the indirect procurement tool (MEO) and ensure data integrity between systems.
- Identify and compile financial inputs required for tenders and provide analytical support during supplier negotiations.
- Quantify negotiation impacts and integrate savings/changes into DETS budgets and reforecasts.
- Define requirements and implement new files and tools to align purchasing workflows with management control methodologies.
- Propose process and tool improvements, formalise adapted procedures and contribute to cross‑functional projects.
- Contribute to operational controlling tasks: periodic closes, variance analyses, year‑end landing and budget re-estimates (notably for copiers, waste, telephony and energy).
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a recognised finance programme or business school and seeking a 6‑month césure or end‑of‑studies internship.
- Available full time for a 6‑month internship beginning September 2026; based in Pantin.
- Ideally has a first internship or coursework experience in management control or financial analysis.
- Organised, rigorous and intellectually curious with strong analytical capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a demanding, multi‑stakeholder environment.
