Hermès Sellier in Pantin seeks a Management Control Assistant (Apprenticeship) to support Maison financial reporting, consolidation and costing.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support site and pole Management Controllers in monthly and period-end closing activities including P&L analysis, reporting and preparation of executive summary notes.
- Participate in forecasting processes (B+2 forecasts, quarterly reforecasts and annual budgeting) and prepare associated consolidation deliverables for the Maison pole.
- Analyze principal expense lines, liaise with budget holders and operations to explain variances and support corrective actions.
- Develop and improve tracking files and reporting tools with a focus on automation and standardization.
- Contribute to the reliability and monitoring of Division Maison inventory and stock movements; participate in inventories and destocking actions.
- Monitor workforce metrics and assist with headcount follow-up.
- Take part in non‑recurring structuring projects for the Management Control team at site and pole level, and carry out ad hoc studies for the Financial Direction.
- Support the validation and improvement of industrial cost prices (PRI) across group companies.
Qualifications
- Master's degree (Grande École, Engineering school) or equivalent university diploma (Bac+5).
- Strong analytical aptitude and numerical fluency with excellent command of Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; service‑oriented with ability to interact with operational teams and finance stakeholders.
- Organised, results‑driven, rigorous and capable of synthesising complex information.
- Practical, field‑oriented approach and ability to manage shifting rhythms between continuous monitoring, periodic reporting and ad hoc studies.

Entry‑level / internship — first experience in a Management Control role is advantageous but beginners accepted; demonstrated exposure to closing, reporting or budgeting activities preferred.
Education
Master's degree (Grande École or Engineering) or equivalent university diploma (Bac+5).
