Hermès — Le Pré-Saint-Gervais: Management Control Assistant (Apprenticeship) supporting DETS teams in budgeting, Power BI reporting and supplier invoice follow-up.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support operational management controllers on OPEX and CAPEX monitoring and analysis
- Conduct budget tracking, validate purchase authorisations (DA) and contribute to budgetary cycles
- Assist with month-end and year-end close activities: calculation of accruals and provisions (FNP/CCA) and analytical reclassifications
- Analyse budget variances and prepare explanatory notes for controller and stakeholders
- Maintain and update Power BI dashboards and develop automated reporting solutions using Power Query
- Design and deploy automated files and ad hoc reports at the request of DETS operational teams
- Update and document control repositories and procedures
- Follow up supplier invoices, manage disputed invoices and credit note requests, and drive operational follow-ups to ensure timely payments
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a business school or Master’s programme with a specialisation in finance; seeking an apprenticeship/alternance
- First professional experience or internship in management control or corporate finance; beginners accepted
- Highly organised, autonomous, rigorous and intellectually curious
- Strong numerical and analytical aptitude with a collaborative mindset
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work across operational and accounting teams

First experience or internship in management control or financial reporting is desirable; the role accepts entry-level candidates and those seeking their first apprenticeship placement.
Education
Student in a business school or Master 2 in finance (or equivalent), enrolled in an apprenticeship/alternance programme.
