About Hermès

Petit h is an experimental atelier within the Hermès group that transforms surplus materials and objects from Hermès métiers into unique creations. Operating as part of Hermès, Petit h combines artisanal savoir‑faire with cross‑disciplinary collaboration across leatherwork, metalwork and other métiers, and commercialises pieces through select stores, pop‑ups and e‑commerce.

Role & Responsibilities

• Control and validate supplier invoices for direct and indirect purchases, reconcile with purchase orders and goods receipts, and resolve discrepancies with operations and accounting.
• Maintain and update product bill‑of‑materials (nomenclatures) to ensure accuracy of industrial costs and support commercial pricing based on margin.
• Prepare, monitor and analyse operating expenses (Opex) by service or project and update budget tracking dashboards.
• Contribute to the reliability of regular financial reporting and participate in continuous improvement of reporting timeliness and quality.
• Support month‑end closing tasks: post cut‑off entries, review accruals and stock controls, prepare extractions and analysis files for month‑end reviews.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and intermediate forecasts, liaising with operational teams to collect necessary data.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bac+4/5 programme (business school, engineering school or university) and eligible for an apprenticeship contract.
• Available for a 12‑month apprenticeship starting September 2026 based in Pantin (Métro Ligne 5 / RER E accessible).
• First internship experience in finance is preferred; beginners accepted.
• Excellent interpersonal and pedagogical skills; comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Rigorous, well organised, reactive and attentive to deadlines, with genuine curiosity for creative objects and the Petit h universe.

Ideally one prior internship in a finance or controlling function; open to candidates at the start of their professional journey (beginners accepted).

Education

Bac+4/5 level student in a business school, engineering school or university (master’s level) with eligibility for an apprenticeship contract.
