Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the Head of Management Control for Hermès E‑commerce Europe in preparation and dissemination of reliable activity reporting for the E‑commerce Executive Committee and Groupe Hermès.
  • Contribute to period‑end close activities: ensure data reliability, calculate provisions and perform analytical reviews of overheads and variable costs.
  • Prepare and consolidate actuals and prospective data for group reporting (Magnitude).
  • Participate in internal control reviews and execute 1st and 2nd level control tests to mitigate operational and financial risk.
  • Organise, prepare and participate in physical stock inventories and related reconciliations.
  • Conduct ad‑hoc business analyses (transport and payment costs, impact of customer returns, product range profitability, etc.).
  • Support continuous improvement of processes, with a focus on functional IT enhancements and automation opportunities.
  • Act as a proactive finance business partner for cross‑functional teams within the European e‑commerce organisation.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a business school, engineering school or university programme (Bachelor/Master level) and eligible for an apprenticeship contract.
  • Curiosity, initiative and a demonstrable appetite for process optimisation and continuous improvement.
  • Rigour, precision, strong organisational skills and the ability to work under variable rhythms (ongoing monitoring, periodic close and ad‑hoc studies).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and client sensitivity to collaborate with internal stakeholders.
  • Fluent English (spoken and written); French language skills are advantageous.
  • A prior internship or experience in an audit firm is a plus.
