Hermès Manufacture des Métaux seeks a Management Accounting Intern for a 6-month internship in Champigny-sur-Marne, France, starting January 2027.
Role & Responsibilities
- Participate in month-end and year-end closing procedures, including accounting entries and income statement analysis
- Conduct budget versus actual variance analysis and prepare consolidated budgetary reports
- Support ERP implementation initiatives and associated business process optimization projects
- Build and monitor weekly and monthly revenue tracking dashboards and financial statements
- Perform ad-hoc financial analyses to identify opportunities for operational and financial performance improvement
- Collaborate with finance team members and cross-functional stakeholders on reporting and forecasting activities
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookup functions, advanced formulas)
- Competency in Power BI and Power Query for data visualization and analytics
- Strong numerical aptitude and accuracy in financial analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a structured environment

Beginners accepted; no prior professional experience required. Candidates should demonstrate foundational knowledge of accounting and finance concepts through academic coursework or project experience.
Education
Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree program in Finance, Accounting, Management Control (Contrôle de Gestion), Business Administration, or a related discipline. Equivalent professional certifications or advanced technical training in financial analysis are valued.
