Ateliers A.S. in Pierre‑Bénite (Hermès Group) seeks a Maintenance Technician (permanent, full‑time) to maintain automated textile production equipment.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on automated production equipment (pneumatic, hydraulic, special machines, automation).
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, electronic and mechanical faults; replace and refurbish components within production installations.
  • Perform mechanical work including bearing replacement, linear guide adjustments, mechanical system tuning and operation of manual machine tools (milling machine, lathe) and small‑parts welding stations.
  • Troubleshoot electrotechnical systems: fault finding in electrical panels, motor protection and distribution, and commission variable speed drives.
  • Troubleshoot and program PLCs and HMI for diagnostics and repair using Rockwell, Schneider and Proface environments.
  • Carry out scheduled maintenance tasks on production lines according to the maintenance plan and record interventions.
  • Log work orders and spare parts consumption in the GMAO (CMMS) system.
  • Participate in commissioning and start‑up of new automated production installations.

Qualifications

  • Bac+2 (BTS or DUT) in an industrial discipline or equivalent technical qualification.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in a production environment as a maintenance technician or field service technician.
  • Proven experience with industrial automated installations; experience with robotised systems (Fanuc) is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to work on mechanical, electrical and automation systems in a continuous production setting.
  • Strong communication skills and proven ability to work collaboratively with production teams.
