Hermès is seeking a Maintenance Assistant for a full-time, fixed-term role in Fundão. The position supports maintenance operations through materials and tool preparation, workshop organization and upkeep, basic facilities maintenance, and adherence to safety and quality procedures.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide operational and logistical support to the Maintenance team, preparing and moving materials and organizing resources.
- Prepare, transport and make available the tools, materials and equipment required for maintenance work.
- Organize and store parts, materials, consumables and tools in workshops and storage areas.
- Support the Maintenance team in preparing and carrying out interventions.
- Clean and maintain workshops, technical areas and workspaces.
- Assist with basic general maintenance tasks at the facilities, following instructions received.
- Help receive, identify, store and carry out basic checks on materials and consumables.
- Ensure proper use and upkeep of tools and work equipment.
- Follow safety, hygiene and workplace-organization standards and procedures.
Qualifications
- Mandatory schooling through the 9th grade; vocational training in an industrial or maintenance field is an asset.
- Experience in an industrial environment, general maintenance or operational support is an asset but is not required.
- Basic knowledge of using hand and power tools.
- Basic knowledge of industrial materials and components.
- Ability to organize and identify tools, parts and consumables.
- User-level computer skills, where applicable.
- Responsibility and organizational skills.

Skills
Experience
