Role & Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with site safety rules and safe operation of production equipment.
  • Support diagnosis and corrective interventions on production machines under the supervision of the maintenance technician.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks and routine inspections on machining equipment.
  • Contribute to technical improvements and participate in continuous improvement projects (chantiers d'amélioration continue).
  • Update and maintain maintenance documentation and records.
  • Collaborate with production, sector managers, flow leaders, setters (régleurs) and quality controllers to minimise downtime.

Qualifications

  • Eligible for an apprenticeship contract (alternance); start date 2026-09-01.
  • Vocational training or current enrolment in mechanical, electromechanical or industrial maintenance studies (CAP, Bac Pro, BTS or equivalent).
  • Beginners accepted; strong motivation and demonstrated willingness to learn from technicians and régleurs.
  • Good interpersonal skills, team orientation and commitment to the company's values.
  • Ability to make decisions, adapt quickly and contribute to result‑oriented improvement initiatives.

Reading mechanical and electrical plans Adjusting and basic fitting (notions d'ajustage) and understanding of mechanical clearances, guides and bearings Understanding CNC machine operation (axes, spindle, toolchanger) Identification of principal machine components: motors, scales/rules, sensors, variable speed drives Knowledge of machine geometry fundamentals (squareness, perpendicularity) Ability to perform diagnostics and preventive maintenance CNC FANUC CHIRON BUMOTEC GF MIKRON DMG STAR BROTHER Reading CNC programs (would be a plus) Documentation upkeep and participation in continuous improvement (Kaizen) activities

Experience

No prior professional experience required; suitable for students or recent graduates entering an apprenticeship in mechanical or industrial maintenance. Practical familiarity with workshop tooling or basic CNC theory is advantageous.

Education

Vocational secondary or post‑secondary qualification in mechanical, electromechanical or industrial maintenance (CAP, Bac Pro, BTS) or current enrolment in an approved apprenticeship programme.
