Role & Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical MTM consultation to clients, conveying in-depth knowledge of fabrics, custom suit products, composition, style provenance, and fit recommendations in collaboration with in-house tailors
• Develop and conduct staff training on seasonal fabric collections, program offerings, and new developments to ensure consistent team proficiency and order accuracy
• Serve as primary liaison to the MTM métier in Paris, communicating customer feedback, tracking orders from initiation through completion, and reinforcing service standards to minimize rejection rates
• Maintain consistent sales productivity by achieving personal sales targets across all product categories while supporting the boutique's collective revenue goals
• Organize and maintain the MTM workstation, including weekly updates to seasonal swatch books, stock replenishment of samples, packaging materials, and display tools
• Process all point-of-sale transactions with accuracy, maintain CRM client files with detailed purchase history and sales analysis, and manage post-sale service administration
• Uphold store standards through visual merchandising compliance, inventory maintenance, physical EAS tagging, ticketing, and seasonal merchandise replenishment
• Execute asset protection protocols, including employee sign-in procedures, bag checks, merchandise security, and participation in monthly inventory cycles
• Deliver consistent high-touch customer service aligned with Hermès standards, including prompt client greeting, product assistance, and gift wrapping at point of sale

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of professional experience in made-to-measure, bespoke, or custom tailoring
• Minimum 2 years of demonstrated sales success, preferably in a luxury retail environment
• Expert knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, fit alteration, and tailoring techniques
• Advanced planning, organizational, and time-management capabilities with meticulous attention to detail
• Elevated interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated leadership presence
• Ability to multi-task effectively under pressure while remaining even-tempered and client-focused
• Self-directed initiative balanced with collaborative team contribution
• Flexible availability to accommodate business scheduling needs
• Physical capability to lift and carry merchandise weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance
• Proficiency in point-of-sale systems and CRM platforms

Skills

Experience

Minimum 2–3 years of professional experience in made-to-measure, bespoke, or custom tailoring in a retail or boutique setting, combined with at least 2 years of sales experience preferably within the luxury goods or high-end fashion sector. Demonstrated track record of achieving individual sales targets, developing client relationships, and mentoring colleagues on product knowledge and service delivery.

Education

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university is preferred but not required.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 29 to USD 31 per hour.
