Hermès de Paris Mexico — Logistics Intern in Mexico City. 6-month on-site internship supporting import/export and aftersales logistics.
Role & Responsibilities
- Proactively track and manage import shipments of products, consumables and event materials from origin to final delivery.
- Coordinate operational interactions with customs brokers, carriers and internal international teams to ensure timely clearance and transit.
- Prepare and administer customs and legal documentation, including pedimentos, manifestación de valor and CITES-related paperwork.
- Organize and maintain documentary bases, manage legal representative signature workflows and ensure archival integrity.
- Investigate and resolve shipment incidents, disputes and claims with carriers and external partners.
- Prepare and coordinate export documentation and exceptional export flows when required.
- Manage aftersales logistics flows: collection, inventorying, consolidation, packing and dispatch.
- Monitor shipments through to final delivery and communicate status updates to retail and merchandising teams.
- Support special logistics projects (omnichannel initiatives, store relocations, remodels and events) and participate in physical inventories and commercial activation logistics.
Qualifications
- Current student or recent graduate in Business Administration, Logistics, International Trade or related discipline.
- Open to beginners; previous professional experience not required.
- Intermediate proficiency in English.
- Basic competence with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Possession of valid major medical insurance (Seguro de Gastos Médicos Mayores) at the time of hiring.
- Updated Constancia de Situación Fiscal (CSF) required for onboarding.
- Availability for a six-month, on-site internship (internship contract).
