Hermès seeks an experienced Logistics Flow and Transport Coordinator in Milan to manage raw material inbound/outbound operations and 3PL partnerships.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage operational inbound and outbound flows of raw materials including textiles, leather, and metal components from the logistics hub, coordinating LTL/FTL and courier transports
- Define and communicate the prioritization of incoming and outgoing goods according to production schedules and timelines established with Métiers and packaging partners, providing timely alerts of any delays
- Supervise and ensure the quality of services delivered by logistics and transport partners, addressing performance gaps and discrepancies
- Support the Métier procurement office and 3PL partner in resolving non-conformities (documentation, IT flows, physical discrepancies) during goods receipt and invoice reconciliation phases
- Coordinate with the 3PL partner and production sites to resolve distribution non-conformities through discrepancy analysis and corrective action plans, maintaining communication with Métiers and packaging partners
- Monitor distribution orders (DO) and purchase orders (PO) in transit through daily reviews and KPI tracking
- Conduct transit analyses and historical reviews with procurement, carriers, packaging partners, and inventory teams to identify improvement opportunities
- Support the 3PL partner in proactive monitoring of contested items during inbound and outbound operations
- Manage and track transport disputes and incidents arising during shipment phases
- Generate weekly and periodic reports to monitor operational performance and identify trends
- Analyze operational data and propose process improvement solutions in coordination with stakeholders
- Formalize internal operating procedures and service requests to the 3PL partner
- Manage inventory planning initiatives and analyze discrepancies with the 3PL partner
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Economics
- Previous professional experience in warehouse logistics coordination at luxury goods or high-end manufacturing companies
- Demonstrated experience managing 3PL logistics service providers
- Ability to work autonomously and with strong proactive orientation
- Capability to manage urgent situations and establish operational priorities effectively
- Customer service orientation with a commitment to service excellence
- Ability to thrive in dynamic, multi-stakeholder environments requiring rigor and organizational discipline
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate across functions and with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI
- Familiarity with enterprise information systems (ERP, WMS)
- Knowledge of InforM3 system considered an asset

Previous professional experience in warehouse logistics coordination at companies in the luxury goods or fashion sector; demonstrated experience managing 3PL logistics service providers and coordinating inbound/outbound material flows
