Hermès Brasil seeks a Logistics Coordinator in São Paulo to lead supply chain operations and oversee third-party logistics partnerships for retail, e-commerce, and distribution centers.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive and optimize logistics operations within the subsidiary to deliver efficient services to all customers including retail stores, e-commerce, and commercial partners
- Coordinate with the Operations Manager on all third-party logistics contracts, performance metrics, and key performance indicators for distribution centers, local transportation providers, and customs brokers
- Serve as the primary logistics contact within the subsidiary and lead the local logistics project while actively supporting the Group's supply chain initiatives and central model implementation
- Collaborate closely with retail, merchandising, e-commerce teams, and commercial partners on planning and deliveries while maintaining open and efficient communication
- Assist in designing and implementing local logistics strategy aligned with Group objectives
- Supervise Hermès' logistics and transportation budget including planning control and billing oversight
- Support supply chain flows and forecasts for collections, retail locations, e-commerce, returns, and reverse logistics
- Coordinate all third-party logistics contracts and performance standards
- Document standard procedures and all import, export, and logistics process flows
- Monitor logistics provider KPIs and contractual commitments including import/export brokers, distribution center operations, freight agents, and local transportation services
- Propose and monitor action plans for continuous operational improvements
- Assist in annual negotiations with service providers on cost management and continuous improvement objectives
- Propose and promote service level agreements between local supply chain stakeholders
- Oversee special orders for retail, e-commerce, and communications teams
- Monitor inventory management and inbound/outbound flows in coordination with third-party distribution center operators
- Ensure all delivery complaints are processed and tracked appropriately
- Provide reports to business partners
- Coordinate with customs brokers and trading partners on consistent processes compliant with applicable legislation for customs declarations and merchandise inspections
- Ensure compliance with local regulations including CITES and local labeling requirements
- Monitor updates to import and labeling regulations and report to the Group
- Coordinate special licensing requirements where applicable
- Prepare for audits related to customs, finance, IT, and health and safety matters connected to logistics
- Regularly audit security and protection measures and enforce adherence to Group policies, local regulations, and Hermès Insurance requirements
- Propose improvement initiatives to optimize logistics operations and increase satisfaction among retail and e-commerce partners
- Design and configure new processes and value-added services
- Actively contribute to the Group's supply chain project and implementation of central systems including Milkyway, SAP, and Cockpit
- Monitor the environmental footprint of the local supply chain
- Drive green logistics initiatives across the local supply chain
Qualifications
- Higher education degree
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in logistics or operations as a coordinator
- Experience with B2C operations, retail store replenishment, and warehouse distribution
- Advanced English proficiency
- Knowledge of WMS and ERP systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical and expense management skills to produce accurate, professional, and timely reports
- Strong project management capabilities with ability to prioritize multiple initiatives and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of demonstrated experience in logistics or supply chain operations in a coordinator capacity, with direct involvement in B2C operations, retail store replenishment, and warehouse distribution activities. Experience managing third-party logistics partners and overseeing distribution center operations is preferred.
Education
Higher education degree in supply chain management, logistics, operations management, or related field.
