Role & Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and validate incoming parcels and merchandise from carriers and couriers for quality and quantity
- Register shipments in the ISITRAC tracking system and maintain current shipment data
- Route goods to designated zones while ensuring appropriate handling based on product fragility; communicate delivery timelines to distribution teams
- Manage incoming calls and direct inquiries to appropriate personnel; support internal clients with transport solutions
- Coordinate special transport arrangements with attention to security protocols relevant to item value and sensitivity
- Organize courier runs for Paris and the surrounding Île-de-France region according to established procedures
- Maintain transportation documentation through consistent filing and archival methods
- Report any anomalies or discrepancies to the Operational Logistics Manager
- Ensure workplace hygiene and organization; verify daily closure of secure zones
- Uphold facility security and safety protocols, including emergency exit maintenance and personal protective equipment compliance
Qualifications
- Minimum two years of experience in similar logistics or receiving roles
- Proficiency with Outlook, ISITRAC tracking software, and courier management systems
