Hermès Sellier’s Leather Goods and Saddlery division seeks a Logistics Continuous Improvement Project Intern to support logistics resilience, management tools, and subcontractor inventory tracking. The full-time internship lasts six months and is available from February or March 2027 in Saint-Priest.
Role & Responsibilities
- Help revise the Business Continuity Plan in coordination with operational teams and the logistics service provider.
- Support the standardization of metal-component packaging by auditing inbound flows.
- Explore ways to optimize consolidation levels within cartons at the logistics platform.
- Help redesign the scheduling file by developing VBA solutions suited to organizational changes.
- Analyze the team's needs and contribute to enhancing existing Power BI reports.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to improve visibility into logistics operations.
- Act as the point of contact for subcontractors throughout the inventory process.
- Provide operational support and verify the consistency of results in management systems.
- Help ensure stock data reliability in coordination with procurement teams.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree at an engineering or business school and seeking to complement academic training with hands-on operational experience.
- Comfortable with Excel, with an interest in data and BI tools such as Power BI or VBA; knowledge of an ERP or WMS is an advantage.
- Able to build strong working relationships, listen, ask questions, and collaborate with varied stakeholders in a demanding, cross-functional environment.
- Enjoys investigating, structuring an approach, and producing rigorous deliverables with close attention to detail and finish.
