Six-month legal internship at Hermès Paris in Retail Legal Affairs, supporting contract management, compliance, and digital distribution strategy.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide legal guidance on retail strategy policy implementation and regulatory compliance
- Draft and deploy general terms of sale for new distribution channels and digital services
- Review and manage data protection issues related to e-commerce and omnichannel initiatives
- Conduct contract review of IT services including SaaS licenses, maintenance, and software development
- Support European subsidiaries with event contractual frameworks and operational solicitations
- Advise operational teams on consumer protection regulations and manage client disputes
- Draft, negotiate, and validate BtoB and BtoC transport and logistics contracts
- Prepare requests for proposals, negotiate, and execute various service agreements and confidentiality accords
- Monitor regulatory and case law developments relevant to retail operations
- Ensure compliance with group policies on data privacy, confidentiality, and corporate governance
Qualifications
- Master's degree (M2) in Business Law, Contract Law, or equivalent
- Minimum 6 months of professional experience in law firm or corporate legal department
- Demonstrated expertise in distribution law and consumer protection law
- Fluent English proficiency
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to confidentiality and data security protocols
