Hermès International seeks a six-month Legal Intern in Business Law for its Paris headquarters, beginning January 2027.
Role & Responsibilities
- Draft, negotiate, and review contracts including service provisions, sponsorship arrangements, IT agreements, event contracts, and art acquisition agreements
- Conduct intellectual property research and due diligence to protect collections and artistic projects; review regulatory compliance for cultural and commercial initiatives
- Provide legal counsel to operational teams on contract matters, regulatory requirements, and compliance obligations
- Perform regulatory and jurisprudential monitoring relevant to the group's operations across all jurisdictions
- Ensure adherence to group policies regarding confidentiality, data protection, and compliance frameworks
- Support the Holding Pole legal team across business law, intellectual property, and general legal matters
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or holding a Master's degree in Intellectual Property, IT Law, or Business Law
- Minimum six months prior internship or professional experience in law firms or in-house legal departments, preferably in contract law
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and legal research databases
- Demonstrated ability to work confidentially and maintain strict attention to detail

Experience
At least six months of professional or internship experience in business law, contract law, or intellectual property law, preferably in a corporate legal department or law firm environment.
Education
Master's degree (M2 or equivalent) in Intellectual Property Law, IT Law, or Business Law, or currently in the final year of studies toward such qualification.
