Role & Responsibilities

  • Plan and track leather-materials development schedules from creative concept through industrialisation.
  • Coordinate and pilot development trials (V‑1, V0): organise tests, analyse results, produce reports and syntheses.
  • Define follow-up actions and ensure operational execution until formal validation of materials.
  • Manage bovine and small-skin projects including scoping, milestone management, meetings and reporting.
  • Lead 360° risk analyses: prepare workshops, facilitate sessions, document findings and implement corrective action plans.
  • Perform material identity checks and controls on skins and prototype articles; document and circulate findings.
  • Maintain and update BI tracking tools, project indicators and the material book; prepare presentation materials for projects and collection reviews.
  • Ensure rigorous document management: structure network file trees and guarantee availability of material dossiers.
  • Administer PLM follow-up tools, enter project tracking data, process ERP orders and regularisation operations.
  • Coordinate logistics for leather deliveries and receipts and participate in material and finished-goods inventories.
  • Organise and drive 5S initiatives: define scope and objectives, train teams, perform audits and follow through on improvement actions.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a Bac+5 programme (Engineering school or Business school) — apprenticeship/alternance contract.
  • Strong sensitivity to materials and a demonstrated interest in high-quality objects and leathers.
  • Serious, autonomous and highly organised with strong rigour and a collaborative interpersonal style.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Pack Office).
  • Beginners and candidates with limited professional experience are accepted.

Experience
