Role & Responsibilities

  • Actively sell leather goods within the assigned department, presenting product features and styling recommendations to drive sales.
  • Collaborate with the full store team to develop turnover and achieve commercial targets.
  • Prospect for client opportunities on the sales floor and remain proactively mobile to engage customers.
  • Ensure exceptional in‑store customer experience; design and deliver memorable, relevant client interactions, coordinating with the external relations lead when appropriate.
  • Resolve client enquiries and follow up promptly so customers are never left waiting for information or solutions.
  • Represent Hermès values to clients and new colleagues; act as an ambassador for the Maison and its artisans.
  • Recruit, develop and retain a national and international client base; build and autonomously manage a personal client file with regular follow‑up.
  • Support store operations: participate in inventories, assist with visual merchandising changes, help organise stock and maintain the presentation and order of the department and store.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated passion for clients, a service mentality and a proven results orientation.
  • Minimum 1 year of selling experience, preferably within luxury retail or leather goods.
  • Confident, dynamic and audacious temperament able to work across an expanded sales area.
  • Warm and engaging interpersonal style combined with humility and exemplary personal presentation.
  • Comfortable and agile with digital tools and modern communication channels.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Experience

The successful candidate will be located in Paris, Île-de-France, France.
