Role & Responsibilities
- Undertake the complete hand manufacture of leather goods (bags, belts and lifestyle accessories) from cutting and assembly through stitching and finishing.
- Execute manual operations with meticulous attention to Hermès quality and productivity standards, including hand sewing, edge finishing and component assembly.
- Perform rigorous self-inspection and quality control of finished pieces to ensure compliance with maison criteria.
- Follow workshop procedures and productivity targets while contributing to a safe, sustainable and productive workplace.
- Participate in formal training modules to acquire and consolidate traditional leatherworking techniques taught at the Maison's training school.
Qualifications
- CAP or Bac Pro in Maroquinerie (leather goods) or equivalent vocational diploma.
- Eligible for an apprenticeship/professionalization contract (12‑month training contract).
- Strong manual dexterity, precision and attention to detail.
- Reliable, disciplined and committed to the pursuit of craft excellence.
- Ability to work both collaboratively within a workshop team and autonomously; capacity for self-evaluation and continuous improvement.
