Role & Responsibilities

  • Perform all upstream production steps for leather goods: accurately cut hides and prepare component pieces for assembly using dedicated cutting and preparation equipment.
  • Work to defined quality standards and production time objectives to ensure finished items meet Hermès’s exacting criteria.
  • Operate and maintain assigned machines and hand tools, adapting to different leathers and models in serial or small‑series production.
  • Inspect cut components for defects and report nonconformities; participate in basic quality control and traceability procedures.
  • Collaborate within a small workshop team, follow training and process documentation, and contribute to a safe, orderly workplace.
