Role & Responsibilities
- Execute precise cutting of leather hides according to design specifications and production patterns
- Prepare leather components using dedicated machinery to ensure consistent quality and dimensions
- Perform all preliminary stages of leather goods assembly prior to montage, from cutting through final preparation
- Collaborate with fellow artisans to produce leather goods (handbags, small leather accessories, etc.) meeting established quality and timeline standards
- Maintain meticulous attention to color perception, material nuances, and surface details throughout the cutting and preparation process
- Operate various cutting machines across multiple leather types and production models

Education
Secondary education (lycée) or equivalent is expected. Completion of formal training through the Hermès School of Craftsmanship (Ecole Hermès des Savoir-Faire) over six months is required to acquire foundational competencies and progress toward the Cutter CQP (Certificat de Qualification Professionnelle) certification.
