Role & Responsibilities
- Precisely cut leather hides and components according to patterns and production specifications.
- Prepare and process cut pieces using dedicated cutting and finishing machines, ensuring readiness for downstream assembly.
- Inspect leather for colour, grain, defects and suitability; make informed decisions to select or reject materials.
- Respect quality standards, production timings and traceability requirements on each piece.
- Operate and maintain cutting equipment and keep the work area organised, safe and compliant with housekeeping standards.
- Collaborate closely with experienced artisans and line managers; integrate feedback and adapt to multiple models and materials.
- Participate in the classroom and workshop modules delivered by École Hermès as part of the 6‑month professionalisation programme.

No formal degree required; secondary education or vocational background (CAP/BEP or equivalent) is advantageous. Candidates will follow the École Hermès professionalisation curriculum during the contract.
