Role & Responsibilities
- Manufacture leather goods (handbags, small leather goods, and accessories) entirely by hand, from raw material to finished product
- Execute precise hand-stitching, cutting, and assembly techniques according to Hermès quality standards
- Maintain meticulous attention to detail and quality control throughout each stage of production
- Collaborate with experienced artisans to learn traditional leatherworking techniques and preserve craft heritage
- Adhere to production timelines and quality benchmarks established for each project
- Progressively develop proficiency in the range of leatherworking techniques required for the role
