Hermès Leather Artisan opportunity in Aix-les-Bains, France—6-month professionalization contract + 12-month apprenticeship leading to permanent employment. Training at the École Hermès des Savoir-faire.
Role & Responsibilities
- Craft leather goods—handbags, accessories, and finished pieces—from raw materials through completion, applying hand-techniques and precision tools
- Execute all production stages in adherence to Hermès' exacting quality standards, production timelines, and specifications
- Master traditional leatherworking techniques, material properties, and tool usage under the guidance of senior artisans
- Participate in ongoing professional development and formal training through the École Hermès des Savoir-faire, culminating in the CAP Maroquinerie (national leathergoods credential)
- Collaborate actively within a small-scale, team-oriented workshop environment, supporting peers and maintaining workspace safety and cleanliness

- Demonstrated manual dexterity and aptitude for precision handcraft work
- Strong attention to detail and ability to execute meticulous, repetitive tasks with consistency
