Hermès is recruiting a full-time, six-month internship starting in January 2027, based in Pantin, to support leather and textile material industrialization through data analysis, project tools, reporting, and project coordination. The intern will work with the Bureau des Matières and support project managers and supplier-facing industrialization projects.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the monitoring of leather and textile material industrialization, including management tools and indicators, development of new BI reports, improvement of existing data quality, ad hoc analyses, and standardization of data materials.
- Support project managers during ramp-up phases, including tracking manufacturing batches and material transfer logistics, and document the team's processes and workflows.
- Contribute to developing new project tools for supplier material industrialization projects and assessing their compatibility with existing systems.
- Optimize project management and tracking tools, including Excel and PLM, and propose improvements to their simplicity, performance, and usability, including new workload-calculation and scheduling features.
- Maintain data accuracy, particularly across system interfaces; update information, publish data-quality indicators, report issues, propose action plans where needed, and contribute to indicator development.
- Harmonize data sources, improve use of project data from PLM and ERP systems, and reduce reliance on external files.
- Conduct data analyses to clarify material industrialization priorities, including workload calculations, project financial assessments, and material performance analysis.
- Support project managers in selected phases through meeting facilitation, logistics tracking, minutes, and presentations.
Qualifications
- Currently studying for a master's degree or attending a general engineering school, with a specialization in industrial or materials engineering and project management.
- Strong data analysis skills and a keen interest in IT systems and databases.
- Project management experience is an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, adaptability, teamwork, and synthesis skills.
- Good knowledge of Office suite, Power Query, Power BI, PLM, M3, project management tools such as Asana and Project for the Web, and workflow design tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, and draw.io.
