Hermès Dubai seeks Learning & Development Manager to lead talent development, learning strategy, and management training programmes across the Middle East region.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and implement the regional Learning & Development strategy aligned with HR Director, regional business goals, and the Hermès group learning vision
  • Collaborate with the Retail Training Manager to develop and execute the annual retail learning plan in line with organizational vision and strategic focuses
  • Drive innovation in learning delivery through digital platforms including My Click H, My Campus and The Hub, experiential learning, and blended learning approaches
  • Monitor industry and regional trends to identify and implement best practices in the learning and development landscape
  • Partner with Europe/Global and regional HR teams to align talent initiatives with Hermès Group processes and regional objectives
  • Assume full ownership of head office employee learning and development, including needs analysis, training delivery or sourcing, and measurement of positive impact
  • Act as a key strategic partner to HR Business Partners, the HR Director, and management team to identify and develop high-potential talent
  • Design and deliver signature talent development programmes including management development initiatives, UAE national-specific development pathways, and regional leadership development
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners on business needs and the development of identified successors to build organizational strength
  • Oversee the Retail Training Manager to ensure consistent, high-quality learning delivery across Middle Eastern retail locations
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve learning content and delivery methodologies
  • Maintain accurate administration and reporting of all retail learning practices for annual HR reporting cycles
  • Manage Learning & Development performance against key metrics to track departmental commercial impact
  • Proactively manage the Learning & Development department budget
  • Lead and develop the Learning & Development team to ensure all members perform and deliver at their best

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in HR management with focus on talent development, training, or Learning & Development, preferably within retail or a similar client-oriented industry
  • Proven experience building and managing talent development programmes
  • Strong understanding of learning frameworks and employee development methodologies
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills with ability to engage diverse audiences
  • Strategic thinking capability with strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, multi-stakeholder environment
  • Highly organized with strong retail or similar industry sector understanding
  • Demonstrated ability to roll out key initiatives, drive clear commercial conclusions, and communicate effectively across organizational levels
