Hermès Knit Production Manager (CDI) – Pantin, France. Oversee luxury knitwear fabrication, quality, and supplier relationships.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and finalize production models, ensuring conformity to design specifications and optimal fit across all size gradations
- Prepare comprehensive technical documentation including sketches, color specifications, measurement sheets, and model photos for production facilities
- Organize and conduct fit testing sessions, coordinating adjustments with development teams and suppliers to achieve production standards
- Manage material sourcing and yarn reservations with spinners, controlling costs and ensuring timely supply of colored yarns to manufacturers
- Coordinate production scheduling and load planning with production leadership and supply chain partners to meet delivery deadlines
- Deliver weekly production status reports covering size approvals, yarn receipt, knitting and assembly progress, deliveries, and quality control outcomes
- Conduct regular site visits to production facilities at key manufacturing stages, ensuring quality standards implementation and addressing production challenges
- Validate master samples in collaboration with the quality department, authorize shipments, and establish quality benchmarks for ongoing production
- Update and verify product nomenclature in the PLM system and maintain charge cost assignments at the start of each season
- Monitor regulatory documentation compliance (DFLT, REACH) and prepare composition labels in coordination with regulatory affairs
- Track supplier performance metrics including development responsiveness, delivery rates, and quality scores; organize weekly review calls with supply partners
- Identify and implement continuous improvement plans with quality, supply, and inventory teams; conduct end-of-season performance reviews with suppliers
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in various knitting techniques, yarn types, gauges, finishes, and yarn counts
- Strong relationship-building skills with manufacturing partners and commitment to excellence
- Excellent communication abilities and collaborative team approach
- Demonstrated sensitivity to fashion aesthetics and quality standards
- Proficiency with ERP systems, particularly M3, as well as Designer, FPLM, and Excel
- Analytical mindset with strong organizational and prioritization capabilities
- Fluency in Italian and English

Experience
5 to 10 years of experience in luxury fashion production, with demonstrated expertise in knitwear and twill manufacturing environments
Education
Technical training or professional qualification in textiles, fashion production, or equivalent hands-on experience in high-end garment manufacturing
