Junior Store Manager position at Hermès Mumbai Fort boutique. Lead retail operations, sales, and teams for India's iconic luxury flagship store.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and develop store strategy aligned with commercial targets across product segments, establishing store identity and business development plans while implementing buying strategies based on store performance and client feedback
- Drive sales growth and achieve revenue targets whilst maintaining rigorous profit and loss management, including KPI definition, market trend analysis, and inventory control through the Smart Ops process
- Ensure exceptional client experience by embodying Hermès brand values, welcoming clients personally, leading the sales team to Hermès service standards, managing the ACE mystery shopping index, and cultivating client loyalty through active portfolio management
- Lead and develop team members by setting performance expectations, defining responsibilities and targets, fostering team spirit, ensuring regular training in customer experience and product knowledge, and managing leave procedures in compliance with company policy
- Maintain store environment excellence through coordination with retail operations and headquarters on maintenance, renovations, and facilities management, ensuring the boutique is perpetually maintained to Hermès standards
- Prepare and lead weekly retail catch-up meetings with sales KPIs and team feedback, ensuring the team fully understands and applies selling goals and strategy
- Coordinate retail events and maintain strong local market presence in collaboration with the Communications Department, anticipating client expectations and building brand visibility in Mumbai
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent tertiary qualification
- Minimum 6 years of relevant management experience in high-end fashion, luxury retail, or equivalent senior retail capacity
- Demonstrated expertise in P&L management and financial acumen with solid analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Fluent English, both written and spoken
- Proven track record of leading teams and driving client experience in luxury retail environments

Minimum 6 years of relevant management experience in high-end fashion, luxury retail, or similar senior capacity. Candidates should demonstrate a proven track record of achieving sales targets, managing P&L statements, leading diverse retail teams, and delivering exceptional client experiences in luxury settings.
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent tertiary qualification required.
