Role & Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of knitwear collections from concept through to finished samples.
- Explore and develop silhouettes using draping and volumetric techniques to inform three‑dimensional knit proposals.
- Translate creative concepts into technical knit proposals and detailed specifications for sampling.
- Collaborate closely with design, production and sampling teams to ensure fit, quality and manufacturability.
- Research and evaluate yarns, stitch constructions, knit techniques and textile developments to inform design choices.
- Support fittings, sample follow‑up and iteration cycles to maintain precision and delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Approximately 1–2 years' experience in knitwear design or ready‑to‑wear (RTW); experience within a maison or atelier is advantageous.
- Proven ability in draping with a strong understanding of volume, form and garment construction.
- Good knowledge of knit structures, stitch types and yarn qualities.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization and a proactive, team‑oriented approach.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign; familiarity with Procreate is a plus.

Experience
Minimum one year, typically around two years, of professional experience in knitwear or ready‑to‑wear design with hands‑on involvement in sample development and fittings.
Education
Degree or diploma in fashion design, textile engineering, knitwear technology or comparable vocational training; specialised training in knitwear development is advantageous.

The successful candidate will be located in Pantin, Île-de-France, France, with easy access to Paris.
