Jewellery Setter position at Hermès Fine Jewellery, Chessy. Full-time CDI role executing stone-setting for fine jewellery pieces.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Execute stone-setting operations on medium and high jewellery pieces according to specifications, using appropriate techniques and ensuring adherence to quality standards and internal procedures
  • Perform post-inspection rework and retouching of stone-setting as required by the quality control process
  • Participate actively in workshop continuous improvement initiatives by identifying manufacturing challenges and collaborating with colleagues across other craft disciplines to resolve issues
  • Maintain rigorous quality standards and attention to detail throughout all stone-setting operations

Qualifications

  • Formal training or equivalent qualification in stone-setting techniques
  • Proficiency in all principal stone-setting techniques for diamonds and coloured gemstones, including claw setting, closed setting, grain setting, and rail setting
  • Mastery of all processes and procedures within the stone-setting discipline
  • Demonstrated ability to work with precision, rigour, and attention to detail
  • Strong team orientation and collaborative spirit
  • Commitment to contributing expertise and advancing an exceptional craft

Experience
