CREATION JMC (Hermès Bijouterie) in Magny‑le‑Hongre seeks a Jewellery Foundry Operator for casting, finishing and machine setup.
Role & Responsibilities
- Set up and prepare production equipment (furnaces, spindles, cylinders and ancillary machines) for casting runs.
- Operate the casting process (investment/metal casting), execute de‑spruing (décrochage), perform pressure washing (Karcher) and sandblasting (sablage) to deliver cast parts.
- Verify installation and equipment functioning; detect malfunctions and perform first‑line corrective actions or escalate to maintenance.
- Participate in start‑up and development phases to determine optimal process parameters and jet placement for new or modified parts.
- Maintain workplace cleanliness and carry out routine upkeep of assigned machines and tools.
- Ensure quality checks, enforce production traceability and populate technical documentation to stabilise processes.
- Manage production inputs and consumables (materials, plasters) to guarantee uninterrupted operations and conformity to internal needs.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of hands‑on experience in casting/foundry operations, preferably in jewellery or small‑part casting.
- Demonstrable experience with investment casting processes and post‑casting finishing (de‑spruing, washing, sandblasting).
- Strong sense of organisation, rigor, autonomy, punctuality and reactivity in a production environment.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with bench artisans, methods and quality teams.
- Commitment to safety procedures and basic mechanical troubleshooting for production equipment.

Experience
Minimum 1 year of practical experience in jewellery casting or related foundry operations.
Education
Vocational qualification in metalwork, jewellery making or foundry technology (CAP/BEP or equivalent), or equivalent practical experience.
