Confidential employer — Sao Paulo: IT Support Technician to provide on‑site and remote support for stores and office.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide on‑site and remote technical support for office and store users, prioritising rapid restoration of service.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network and corporate device incidents (laptops, mobile devices, printers, peripherals).
- Configure, prepare and deploy corporate equipment including Windows and macOS laptops, iPhones and mobile devices, printers and network equipment.
- Support store operations: POS systems, payment terminals and local store infrastructure; troubleshoot CEGID, Adyen, fiscal printers, local networks and back‑office equipment.
- Validate system functionality after updates, changes or technical interventions and escalate or engage local suppliers as needed.
- Maintain IT asset inventory: record deliveries, returns, replacements and movements; support onboarding/offboarding logistics and equipment transfers.
- Document processes, technical solutions and operational procedures in corporate tools and update tickets and documentation.
- Ensure devices comply with global information security policies; support access controls, permissions and user management processes.
- Liaise with global IT teams for incident alignment, participate in technical meetings and trainings, and support local infrastructure and technology projects.
Qualifications
- Technical diploma or degree in Information Technology, Systems, Networks or a related field.
- Solid practical knowledge of Windows and macOS administration and hardware troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with TCP/IP networks, Wi‑Fi, VPN and basic infrastructure/cabling concepts.
- Proven ability to work onsite in retail environments with discretion and a customer‑centric attitude.
- Good interpersonal skills, organisation, prioritisation and flexibility to travel between stores and office.
Skills
Experience
Hands‑on experience in IT support roles, providing desktop and field support in mixed corporate and store environments. Experience supporting POS/payment systems and working in retail or luxury environments is a strong advantage.
Education
Technical or higher education in Information Technology, Computer Systems, Networks or a related discipline.
