Role & Responsibilities
- Install and physically place computers, monitors and peripherals at user workstations according to floor plans and layout instructions.
- Configure laptops and desktops, install required software and applications, and update firmware to meet security and standardization protocols.
- Create and configure user accounts, assign permissions, set up email accounts and apply personalized computer profiles.
- Map printers and ensure correct connectivity and functionality for assigned users.
- Provide first-line user support and training for routine IT tasks and systems; triage and escalate technical issues as necessary.
- Coordinate and schedule IT-related office activities, including equipment deliveries, installations and testing during office projects.
- Maintain accurate documentation of device configurations, user setups and IT tasks for reference and auditability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT partners to gain exposure to different facets of corporate IT operations and projects.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an Associate, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program (relevant fields preferred).
- Available for the internship period: July 13 – December 18, 2026; able to work in-person at 550 Madison, New York City.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable engaging with international teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated eagerness to learn, adapt and take direction in a fast-paced corporate environment.
- Beginners accepted; able to perform role duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
Experience
No prior professional experience required; coursework or hands-on exposure to IT hardware, device configuration or helpdesk activities is advantageous but not mandatory.
Education
Enrolled in an Associates, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree program.
