Hermès de Paris Mexico — IT Intern in Mexico City. Part-time, 6-month internship providing technical support to corporate and stores.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical support to corporate staff and store teams, resolving requests related to software, hardware and user tools.
- Configure, prepare and assign PCs, iPhones, iPads and other devices for new hires or equipment changes.
- Manage user access and permissions to ensure correct habilitation of systems and applications.
- Install and update software according to role requirements and corporate standards.
- Open, follow up and close support tickets using Palominow, ensuring timely resolution and accurate documentation.
- Document systems procedures and operational processes for the IT area.
- Maintain inventory control for computing devices and mobile phones during assignments or transfers.
- Wipe, restart and prepare obsolete equipment for destruction or employee sale.
- Support the Systems Coordinator on ongoing projects, trainings, installations and basic configurations.
- Provide on-site support to stores as required.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Systems Engineering, Information Technology or a closely related field.
- Interest in technical support and IT operations with strong customer-service orientation.
- Organized, proactive, detail-oriented and able to troubleshoot under direction.
- Intermediate level of English (spoken and written).
- Possess major medical insurance (Seguro de Gastos Médicos Mayores).
- Updated CSF (Cartilla de Servicio Militar) where applicable.
Skills
Experience
No prior professional experience required; open to beginners and students. Practical exposure to helpdesk or device configuration is advantageous.
Education
Currently enrolled in a university degree (Computer Systems Engineering, Information Technology or related discipline).
