Hermès seeks an IT Governance and Asset Management Director on a permanent, full-time basis in Pantin. Reporting to the Director of Performance, Services & Architecture, the role leads Group IT governance, portfolio and capacity management, ITSM, asset management and FinOps, while overseeing teams and driving continuous improvement across an international organization.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define, maintain, and communicate IT governance methodologies and processes covering portfolio management, project management, capacity management, IT Service Management (ITSM), and continuous improvement.
- Build and lead a one- and three-year IT governance roadmap aligned with the priorities of the Group, Hermès Data, Technologie & Innovation (HDTI), and the Performance, Services & Architecture Directorate (DPSA).
- Ensure alignment between the project portfolio, available capacity, and budget priorities, working closely with Finance.
- Structure and consolidate a cross-functional view of the project portfolio, including HDTI’s strategic key projects.
- Ensure the integration of stakeholders and governance bodies across the project lifecycle, including architecture, cybersecurity, AI governance, CAB, and internal control.
- Oversee the service offering and development of tools for effective IT operations management, including Planisware and MyPPM for PPM and capacity management; ServiceNow and PalomiNow, including HAM and SAM modules, for ITSM and asset management; Jira for product lifecycle management; and Squash TM for test-plan management.
- Support teams in adopting these tools and implementing effective management practices, including capacity management, governance routines, project controls, risk monitoring, and continuous improvement.
- Lead the team responsible for the ITSM platform and the management of IT incidents and requests.
- Support the definition and development of service catalogues offered by HDTI’s various departments.
- Help optimize support activities and improve service quality.
- Foster a shared culture of ITSM practices and continuous improvement.
- Oversee IT Asset Management and FinOps activities within HDTI.
- Work closely with the DSIT SAM teams, IT Procurement, and Finance.
- Contribute to optimizing IT costs, contracts, licences, and resource utilization.
- Develop a comprehensive, controlled view of IT assets and their costs.
- Develop IT governance capabilities within HDTI and across the Group’s entities and subsidiaries.
- Facilitate user and practitioner communities focused on portfolio and project management and ITSM.
- Define, monitor, and communicate IT process performance indicators.
- Lead improvement plans and support teams in their implementation.
- Manage a team of internal employees and external service providers.
- Set and monitor individual and collective objectives; support managers and employees in their development; identify training and skills-development needs; foster team cohesion and momentum; and develop a culture of service, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Manage workload planning and the resources required to meet objectives, as well as the associated budget in coordination with Finance.
Qualifications
- At least 10 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in information systems governance and/or Software Asset Management (SAM) or FinOps roles.
- Experience working in complex, international environments and a strong background in hierarchical and cross-functional management.
- Command of V-model and PRINCE project methodologies.
- Command of agile frameworks, particularly Scrum and SAFe.
- Knowledge of ITIL and COBIT frameworks.
- Knowledge of Lean Management, IT quality, and continuous improvement practices.
- Command of market-leading solutions, including ServiceNow (particularly SAM/HAM), PPM, Jira, and Squash TM.
- Budget, contract, and resource management expertise.
- Fluent professional English.
