The Inventory Control Supervisor manages inventory, shipping and receiving, after-sales service, stock supplies, and cycle counts at Hermès’ Maison Madison flagship boutique in New York. The role partners with store management on replenishment and supply budgets and is an unlimited-contract, full-time position.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain an accurate, organized store inventory.
- Organize and participate in store cycle counts and biannual inventories, and reconcile results with support and direction from the Managing Director and Operations Manager.
- Process all incoming and outgoing shipments within the business day they are generated.
- Complete and maintain proper documentation and filing for merchandise receiving and shipping.
- Check in returns against the previous day's business.
- Print and ticket merchandise, returns, and price updates.
- Process, record, maintain, and follow up on all after-sales service.
- Process damaged goods and maintain inventory records for damages.
- Work with Store Management to analyze business and replenishment needs.
- Develop inventory.
- Order and maintain adequate levels of shipping, selling, store, and kitchen supplies.
- Review and adhere to budgets for shipping, orange, office, and kitchen supplies in partnership with store management and under the direction of the Managing Director and Operations Manager.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in operations or a back-of-house supervisory capacity; experience in a luxury retail environment is preferred.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 23.38 to USD 29.26 per hour.
