Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and organized store inventory with meticulous documentation and filing systems
- Organize and participate in cycle counts, bi-annual inventories, and reconciliation procedures
- Process all incoming and outgoing shipments within the business day, ensuring proper documentation and accuracy
- Check in all returns against previous business day records and verify accuracy
- Print, ticket, and label merchandise, returns, and price updates for retail floor deployment
- Process, record, maintain, and follow up on all after-sales service requests and documentation
- Process damages and maintain inventory records for damaged merchandise
- Collaborate with store management to analyze business trends and replenishment requirements
- Order and maintain adequate stock levels for shipping supplies, selling supplies, and store/kitchen supplies within budget parameters
- Support store management in developing inventory strategies and forecasting
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of supervisory or operations experience in back-of-house retail functions, preferably in a luxury retail environment
- Proficiency with inventory management systems and external shipping software platforms
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task with accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to analyze information and solve operational problems effectively
- Knowledge of asset protection and inventory control best practices
- Physical capability to lift between 0–25 lbs. without assistance
Skills
Experience
2–3 years of supervisory or operations experience in a back-of-house retail capacity, preferably within luxury retail. Experience with inventory control systems, merchandise receipt and dispatch, and cycle counting is essential. Candidates should demonstrate a track record of maintaining accurate inventory records, managing multiple concurrent shipments, and supporting store management in operations.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or completion of retail operations certification preferred.
