Hermès Miami seeks an Inventory Control Specialist to manage store operations, merchandise processing, and inventory accuracy in Miami, FL.
Role & Responsibilities
- Process all incoming and outgoing shipments within the business day they are generated, ensuring proper documentation is completed
- Check in all returns against previous day's business transactions
- Print and ticket merchandise, returns, and price updates for inventory accuracy
- Process, record, maintain and follow up on all after-sales service requests
- Process damages and maintain detailed inventory for damaged merchandise
- Organize and participate in store cycle counts, bi-annual inventories, and reconciliation with support from Managing Director and Operations Manager
- Work with Store Management to analyze business and replenishment needs
- Develop and implement inventory strategies to support the selling process and maintain warehouse standards on a daily basis
- Order and maintain adequate stock levels in shipping, selling supplies, and store and kitchen supplies
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in operations or warehouse management
- Experience in a luxury retail environment preferred
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to analyze information and problem-solve
- Ability to multi-task with accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to follow written and verbal policies and directives
- Demonstrated attention to asset protection and inventory control
- Proficiency with internal inventory management systems and external shipping software programs
- Ability to lift 0–25 lbs. without assistance
Skills
Experience
Minimum 2+ years of professional experience in operations or warehouse management. Experience in a luxury retail environment is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency with both internal inventory control systems and external shipping logistics software.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; further training in inventory management, supply chain operations, or related field is a plus.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 25 to USD 26 per hour.
