Hermès — Inventory Control Specialist in Manhasset, NY. Full-time role overseeing receiving, inventory control and cycle counts. $22.81–$25.20/hr.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Receive and accurately process incoming shipments and returns on the same business day, ensuring correct documentation and system entries.
  • Ticket merchandise, apply price updates, and prepare packing, shipping transfers and RTVs with precision.
  • Organize and participate in weekly cycle counts, bi-annual inventories and reconciliations with store leadership.
  • Maintain clear, up-to-date records and filing systems for receiving, transfers, repairs and aftersales service.
  • Manage damages: process damaged goods, maintain damage inventory and follow up on resolutions.
  • Monitor and replenish stock levels for shipping/selling supplies, store and kitchen supplies.
  • Support store management by analysing inventory trends and recommending replenishment strategies to support the selling process and warehouse standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in operations; prior experience in luxury retail preferred.
  • Demonstrated accuracy in inventory record-keeping and cycle count procedures.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal policies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; ability to multitask with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with asset protection and inventory control best practices.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. without assistance.

Experience
