Hermès — Inventory Control Specialist in Aventura, FL. Full‑time role managing store inventory, shipments and cycle counts. $25–$27/hr.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect and process all incoming shipments and returns the same business day; ensure accurate documentation and system updates.
  • Ticket merchandise, perform price updates and prepare packing/shipping paperwork, transfers and RTVs with precision.
  • Organize and execute weekly cycle counts and bi‑annual inventories; reconcile discrepancies with store management and operations leadership.
  • Maintain neat, auditable records for receiving, shipments, returns, damages and after‑sales service files.
  • Process after‑sales service cases and follow up to resolution, including repairs, exchanges and customer communications where required.
  • Manage inventory for damaged goods and coordinate disposition according to policy.
  • Monitor stock levels of selling/shipping supplies, store and kitchen supplies; place orders to maintain adequate inventory.
  • Support replenishment planning by analysing store metrics and advising Store Management on inventory allocation.
  • Develop and maintain inventory-handling standards to support selling operations and warehouse organisation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in operations, inventory control, or related function (luxury retail experience preferred).
  • Demonstrable experience with cycle counting and physical inventory reconciliation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven analytical ability and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Comfortable using internal retail systems and external shipping software; technologically proficient.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal procedures and to prioritise multiple tasks with accuracy.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs without assistance and perform repetitive handling tasks.

Experience
