Role & Responsibilities
- Support optimisation and day‑to‑day animation of the precious leather central stock to guarantee material availability for artisans while minimising tied‑up inventory.
- Maintain and verify inventory data integrity; perform data analyses to support reliable stock counts and decision making.
- Act as a regular point of contact for artisans and workshop stakeholders to anticipate needs and facilitate material flows.
- Design and run initiatives to increase utilisation of dormant leathers, including local animation points and process adjustments.
- Plan and lead cross‑functional meetings with Supply Chain, Collections, Commercial Development, Customer Service and Planning to ensure alignment and follow‑through.
- Identify operational pain points, propose pragmatic solutions and contribute to continuous improvement of stock management processes.
- Enhance and promote adoption of tracking tools and propose KPIs to measure reduction of idle stock and overall stock performance.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an engineering school (École d'ingénieurs) or equivalent technical programme.
- Strong interest in Supply Chain, inventory management and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Analytical thinker with capacity for data synthesis, autonomy, adaptability and a practical, field‑oriented mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; responsive, organised and able to work with artisans and cross‑functional teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools; basic VBA programming knowledge is a plus.
