Hermès is seeking an Inventory and Flow Reliability Assistant Intern for a six-month internship beginning 4 January 2027, based in Bobigny. Within the Inventory and Flow Reliability unit, the intern will develop logistics performance indicators and reporting, coordinate improvement plans, support process design, and document procedures for operational teams.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define performance indicators across the logistics flow.
- Create indicators using data available in Hermès’ data model (NEO BI), visualized through Power BI.
- Prepare reports for other departments and Hermès Commercial management.
- Use performance indicators to identify operational issues and improvement opportunities, proposing technical or operational changes to optimize flow performance.
- Coordinate related action plans with logistics operations, business teams, logistics support, and IT.
- Participate in workshops to design projects and process changes led by the Hermès Commercial engineering or project team.
- Document procedures to support teams’ development of skills in key processes.
- Act as a close liaison between field teams and stakeholders in the Inventory and Flow Reliability unit.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing an engineering degree or a Master’s degree in logistics, supply chain, information systems, or an equivalent field, with an interest in developing practical expertise in logistics performance.
- Proficiency in Excel and BI tools, including Power BI and SQL; good understanding of WMS and ERP systems.
- Analytical skills, problem-solving ability, autonomy, and the ability to collaborate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Rigorous and an effective communicator, with the ability to adapt communication to different teams and hierarchical levels.
